@nomi86cool You can’t compare the difficulty level of Urdu vs. Hindi. They’re the same dialect differing only in script; as attested by linguists all over the world. At the very most, Urdu with its awkward, throaty guttural consonants picked up from Arabic (‘kh’ in ‘khamosh’, ‘q’ in ‘talaq’ and ‘gh’ in ‘gham’), cumbersome writing system with vast irregularities in spelling (omitted vowels, many letters for the same sound) is the more difficult of the two.
@shujat01 How many times have you heard Urdu speakers say things like ‘shobha’, ‘siddhant’, ‘chhatra’, ‘anubhav’ and ‘bhavishya’? Hindi and Urdu are the same dialect, the only difference in the two other than the script is that Hindi uses many words borrowed from Sanskrit while Urdu doesn’t. This video is in Hindi. Or at best in Hindi-Urdu.
It is Hindi but spoken hindi has urdu words because of Mughal influence and actual hindi is the one in the Holy books of Mahabharat and Ramayan. Hindi is derived from Sanskrit and has is written from left toright like english. While Urdu and Farsi are derived from Arabic and Turkish, have the same script and are written from right to left.
This cartoon has some Hindi words like "shoba" "siddhant" "anbhav" "bhavish" etc which i have never heard in my house. But otherwise it is understandable to Urdu speakers.
